I used to pack for the hangover I might have.
Now I pack for the sunrise I will might see.
You don’t need much. But what you carry should remind you who you are.
- A leakproof mocktail shaker — because 30,000 feet is the perfect place for a virgin spicy margarita.
- A filtered water bottle — so you can mix your own anywhere, safely.
- Noise-blocking earplugs — for hostels, planes, and silent discos.
- A small journal — not for poetry. For writing: “Day 12. Still sober. Still here.”
- Herbal tea sachets — because “just hot water” is a complete drink.
That’s it.
Everything else is weight.
And you’ve already carried enough.
